Comment: Hello every1!! OK...2day I was installing Visual C# with the MSDN library on a virtual machine...it was all ok, until I got a low disk space warning...so I went on 2 free up some space, ok, when I tought I had enuough disk freed, I continued it and came 2 my laptop 2 browse the Internet... But when I was writing a post in this same forum, my other PC just shuts down!! o_O When I go see, the power light was in RED and it was blinking each 2 seconds!! That light is usually green and it's on all the time... I clicked on the power button 2 times so it will restart... When I go on Windows again, I go on my drive with low disk space, and I only have 54.something MB!! I freed up like 1 GB!! WTF is wrong with it?!! I NEED HELP PLZ!!!!!!! I'm scared!! :'( Thanx 4 ur help!! ;) El-Trucha

Reply: (edit)"my other PC just shuts down!! o_O When I go see, the power light was in RED and it was blinking each 2 seconds!!" What happened there was that your PC went to standby (power-saving) mode, which switches off the monitor, and flashes the power light (in a different color if it was dual-color). Do what ham30 suggested, and post back what happens.

Reply: (edit)ham30; I ran "chkdsk /f" kuz I have WinXP and it doesnt have ScanDisk...:( It said that it'll scan it the next time it restarts, so I'll restart now...I'll tell u when it's done...;) sarahhh; No, the standby usually puts my light GREEN and blinking, I never saw it red before...and also, it "comes back alive" when I move the mouse or touch any key... This was different...:( Thanx both of u!! ;) El-Trucha
