I have intel C2D, have formated system, still the system restarts once it boots up. at times it restarts briefly after boot up, i have XP.sp2. can it be the cpu temp reason? processor temp is 55Celisius internal temp is 42 C Remote temp is 41 C
Did you reformat thinking it would fix the restarting issue?
The CPU temp (at idle) should be within about 10C of the system (internal) temp. Yours is within reason but the system temp of 42C is fairly high. What's the average room temp? Do you have any case cooling fans installed? How are they arranged?
