My pc keeps turning itself off

Packard bell / Imedia 2215

Specs: Windows vista
I have a Packard Bell pc, approx 2 yrs old, model Imedia 2215, Intel Celeron dual core on Windows Vista. It was fine, then I had problems with my internet server (which is now fixed) but around the same time the pc started turning itself off, not shutting down, just off, like it does in a power cut. Now it wont turn on, the power button lights up for a second then cuts out. It doesnt make any noise atall. I have all my pictures off my children on there and am desperate to be able to turn it on long enough to put them on a flash drive. I know its my own fault for not backing the files up earlier but didn't think a 2 yr old pc which just suddenly stop working. The antivirus programs are all up to date and it scanned every day so I dont think its a virus but dont have a clue what to try. Please help me, sorry I have no idea what the ram or spec is appart from what is written on the pc case. Any replies greatly appricated.

Are the lights on the front blinking or a color different than usual?

The lights are as normal, usual colour and not bliinking. I did keep it turned on constantly though, I dont know if that makes a difference. I dont think its under warrenty any more, but if its just the power supply im assuming it will be relativly easy to fix. many thanks for responding!
