Specs: windows 7, i3 2100 with dh61ww and 2gb ddr3 ram
i have bought a new pc with core i3 2100 with dh61ww intel motherboard .i have 2gb ram and samsung sata hard drive.first windows 7 was preloaded.but now i cant install xp on it.

That is mostly correct. You can't.

Get VirtualPC or some other free virtual machine.

Otherwise it is getting more and more difficult to support a new system with an old OS.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Nearly all modern computers and motherboards are no longer able to run XP since the manufacturers do not write the needed drivers for the hardware. Even if you could install it (not easy but possible), you would not be able to run it in any reasonable way. Stay with Windows 7, it is much better anyway and if you absolutely need to run an XP program that will not run under compatibility mode then take the advice in response #1 and install XP under a virtual machine within Windows 7 and run it within that.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
