Specs: Windows 7, 4gb/800
I have a desktop pc, with an asus p5k green, a quad core intel, 2,33, 45nm, 4gb ram ddr2, a video card asus eah3850, and pvr2000 tv-tuner, my pc doesn't boot immediately. At first I thought it was the power supply, not enough power to power up the system, I had a thermaltake 470w, now I have a 650w hx corsair. It wasn't that. Here's what is happening when I push the power button:
1 all coolers work
2 the dvdwriter starts reading, but no video input, as if it's in hibernation.
3 after I push reset button and reset my pc for several times, it finally boots, and I hear that beep.
4 the pc runs with no problems after it starts
5 After it boot's finally, If I shut it down it starts again with no problems, as If I shouldn't let him cool off.
6 After it boot's it appears the screen from my motherboard and right after this message: PCIE to SATAII/IDE RAID Controller BIOS v.1 06 09
TEXT SCRIS CU VERDE ODD0: HL-DT-STDVD-RAM GH22NP20 " is bad, how can I make it disappear ?

Go to you BIOS find the section for drive and find the SATA connections and set all the types to Automatic. You may have a connector with a specific type which no longer has a device connected to it and is trying to access hardware that is not there.

The other solution is if every thing is automatic then try unplugging the DVD drive. It may be throwing the error code when it tries to POST.

Good Luck.
