How much RAM do u have? You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
http://www.internet4classrooms.com/... I think you mean your hard drive. RAM is system memory, not hard drive space. Look at the link above to free up some space.
what is ram mate
"RAM (pronounced ramm) is an acronym for random access memory, a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly; that is, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computers and other devices, such as printers."
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/R/RAM...RAM = System memory or memory
How did u know memory is full?
Right click Computer icon on desktop then properties and report "installed memory (RAM)"

Damn, he really confused me. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
ha ha he's good thanks anyway mate. my PC is pissing me off being full all the time. thanks again mate.
I have 74.5GB in my OS(C:) in which 2.88GB is free and 204GB in the back up DATA (D:) in which 154GB is free. I've deleted loads from my back up DATA but doesn't seem to clear much in the OS memory. overall nearly 280GB.
When the OS gets within 5GB of being full the bar turns RED instead of BLUE.
its been RED for ages. Cheers the help.

"I've deleted loads from my back up DATA but doesn't seem to clear much in the OS memory" As grasshopper stated, your hard drive is not memory. Deleting stuff from your hard drive is not clearing memory.
Thanks mate i solved my full memory so i put you as the best answer as i couldn't of done it without you. Cheers mate.
Your are welcome. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
