i bought a new 650GB westerndigital HD, as im trying to install it to my PC the drivers and hardware is not detected.. pls feel free to help

SATA or PATA? If it's PATA, did you configure the master/slave jumpers correctly?

You should have said it's detected in the BIOS. Did you partition/format the drive using the Western Digital software?
