i've replaced my motherboard. i bought a AMD Athlon 1200 T-Bird and a geforce 256. i am planning to buy a 512 or 256 MD DDR ram.
the problem is that the motherboard beeps (and doesn't stop beeping) the beeps are 2 sec long and the space is about 3-4 seconds. i thought it was a memory problem because don't have any memory installed. but i replaced evrything to a 2-year older motherboard with sdram memory. the motherboard was beeping almost the same (but faster) and (to my big dissapointment) a condensator began to burn itself. what is the problem??? is the CPU damaged?

Two beeps usually indicates a RAM or Motherboard problem. Either the wrong RAM is being used or the RAM is bad, or the RAM needs to be reseated or the motherboard is bad.
