My monitor Mitsubishi Diamond Scan 15VX(SD58XX) shows white colour as purple even during the boot and the brightness is set on 100% but is low.

Please help :(

Are all the other colors corret ???

If not the green cathode may be defective.
Blue and red gives the purple light and with the green working it should then be white.
But if that's the problem there shoud be no or few green on your monitor!

I agree with Free Weasel. It might also be caused by a broken wire in the monitor connector. This can happen when a monitor is moved around a lot and the cable is being flexed.
