Help!! my computer i was fixing because it was frozen i shut it off and when i turned it on my Mouse, Keyboard and Monitor were not working. My keyboard seems like it works because when i restart it flashes then it will not respond and there will be no light for caplock or anything and my monitor is just in a mode where it is like on standby.
I think maybe my motherboard has something do do with this

You say you were fixing your computer. It doesn't sound like a keyboard/mouse/monitor problem. It sounds more like your mother board is sensing a voltage irregularity and is refusing to go any further that the POST process. I would double check to make sure ALL expansion cards are seated completly and flushly in their sockets and that all power connectors and cables (ribbon cables included) are completly and correctly connected.

yea cannot try virus scan because the computer screen i cannot see. as far as bios the computer seems to start up but i dont hear the bios beep. so i think it might be the mother board. But when i start the computer up it seems that the hard disk is spinning the fans work and the cd drives work so i dont know. I had the computer uup and running then it froze i shut it off impropperly and next nothing is working it seems like it is running but just isnt in the mood to respond.

When confronted with this sort of problem, I disconnect ALL unnecessary hardware. This includes the hard drive and floppy drive. I know, the system can't boot to an OS without them but your first goal is to verify the mother board and if it gets to the point where it is looking for a boot loader (you should see things on your screen of course) then you have eliminated the original problem. Add one thing at a time from their and find out what the culprit is. If it doesn't try to POST without anything but RAM and video then chances are the mother board is bad.

I had the same problem on a particular system, check the video card. I had to replace it and then all was fine.
