Have you secured the connections at both ends? I would take both ends and look at the pins to make sure none are bent or missing.

My monitor - a 25" Samsung SyncMaster P2570 - goes black, then stuggles to find video signal. On reboot, it works again.
Video card - a EVGA GTX 460 - has already been replaced thinking the card was the problem.
So, in short, the problem still exists.
Any ideas - Windows 7 64-bit?
ASUS motherboard?
I'm no dummy, but I'm baffled.

I'd start your own post. Main reason is, i'm the only one looking at this rather then the whole Computing.net community.

Hi, I have almost the same proble and I struggle to find an answer. Since I finished assembling my new computer two weeks ago, a strange thing happens. My monitor goes black for one-two seconds and then turns back again as if nothing had happened.
This occured 3 time so far, in two weeks, twice when I was openning control panel, exactly on that moment and once in Starcraft 2, but the image also came back as if it was a refresh. When it first happened I didn`t pay too much attention but when I saw the same situation repeats I got worried.

The temperatures of the CPU and Graphic card are OK, the system does not overheat.

I mention that I reinstalled Windows 7 64-Bit, everything else goes fine I don`t have any other problem, I have all the drivers of the motherboard, graphics and everything else, even Bios updated!

My computer specifications are:

- Samsung BX2450, 24" Wide Monitor;
- Asus P6X58-D Premium motherboard;
- I7 950, 3.07 Ghz Pentium processor;
- Leadtek GeForce GTX 850 graphic card;
- Corsair 850 wats PSU;
- Kingston 64 GB SSD;
- Western Digital 1 TB, RE3 - enterprise edition HDD.
- Corsair 6 GB DDRAM 3, 1333 Mhz.

Please help me to find a solution, the warranty I have is for every piece separately and I can get all the central unit to service, I must know for sure which part has problems!

My problem is solved.
My ram voltage was at 1.65V but it should be at 1.5V.
That my case, but check your voltage.
Good luck.
