my logitech driving force wheel isnt working

Specs: windows 7, 4gb
i got a Logitech driving force wheel and pedals at a garage sail and when i plug it in to my laptop (with the ac adapter in) windows dosent even know its there. so i found it on the Logitech website and downloaded Logitech software and that dosent detect it either. is it broken or do i need drivers because i couldn't find any. pls help thanks

Windows should recognize the device then ask for driver. Something is wrong with your driving force wheel.

well now when i plug it in the light in the wheel lights up for a moment and then dies. i got it to work by pluging it in and removing it several times but after a while it stops working again.

Sounds like the power supply.Check with a dvm.

Google for a new one.
