My laptop screen is coming apart

Compaq Compaq presario cq60-615dx laptop...

Specs: Windows 7
I seriously know NOTHING about computers; I'm not sure which part the hinge is or what the problem is. But, the screen at the bottom where it says Presario CQ60 is like coming apart. If I turn it upside down, I can see inside of the screen and I even saw like the lights where the screen (where you see sites and images) is it. I'm really bad at explaning cause I know nothing. But, its on my right facing the screen and its like the hinge (I think thats what its called, its the thing connecting the screen to the like keyboard and stuff) is. I have pictures of it.

So what do you want?

You have a hardware problem with your laptop, you know what the problem is. Why do you need us?
If you want it fixing you would need to take it into a shop and they'll quote you on price etc. Looks like you'll need either a new case or new screen. Which can be quite costly.
If you have a question please ask but you haven't asked anything, you just stated a problem.

Oh, sorry. :( I want to know if there is a temporary fix until I get all my money together to get a new case or screen or whatever you're saying. And I also want to know how much it might cost.

No worries, it just wasn't clear what you wanted lol.

I ain't sure if there's a fix, If the casing is broken then you should probably cover it with some tape in case anything gets inside.
If the screen is physically damaged there isn't anything that can be done other than replacing it.

I can't quite imagine what the problem is, but it sounds like the laptop shell or screen is physically damaged so it's best to take it into some Tech guys and let them look and give you a price.
Price will depend on what the problem is, what hardware needs replacing and what they charge for fitting etc.
