I has a Laptop hp 650 with 4gb Ram. I install BIOS Setup driver of hp, after installation the driver my ram reduce upto 929 MB. How can I find my 4GB RAM Back?
You still have 4GB RAM but since the BIOS update the amount of installed RAM is being reported incorrectly. You should re-install the previous BIOS version that you had before the update.
It can also be failing ram. I have seen few cases of Failing Ram do this as well. Best thing to do is Grab another stick of ram and replace your current stick to see if that makes a difference. Or if you have 2 x 2GB stick try one stick at a time see it sees the 2GB by it self.
The bios upgrade if thats what it was might have corrected itself and told you the exact number....
blackdynamitexi, no HP laptop with Windows 7 on it would have been built with only 1 gig of RAM. That model comes stock with 4 gigs
