My laptop has a problem where the charger plugs into the laptop. It charges on and off blinking, if im lucky, or It wont charge at all. Can anyone please help me?

My Dell did that. Solution was to stick a network card in and use an inkpen to keep a little sideways pressure on the plug. In my case the connector on the motherboard was not replaceable.
Skip

Blinking Charge Lite usually means the battery cannot be charged properly. The battery pack is probably almost dead.
Re: Adapter power connector (in Skip Cox posting) I have found a surprising number of laptop where the connection has broken either in the connector or the attachment to the motherboard. Some are repairable by careful resoldering and cementing/gluing the connector. Actuall the cause is bad design that puts too much stress on the connector. Most of them are straight connectors. that stickout too far.

ok, well whenever i pulled the plug of the adpated up and hold it, it will chrage fine then, so it probably has came loose and needs to be resoldered?

Most likely yes. OR the center pin is loose. This resoldering is not a trivial matter. It depends where the connection has failed. The first problem is disassembly to properly expose the connector. Next careful examination to find the exact failure points. (I have found connectors where 3 terminals had become intermittent due to failure of the solder joints.) One of the hardest to fix is the failure of the rivet of the center pin. You may not have any room and the insulator may be a thermoplastic which will melt with over application of heat. Also note on some models these pins are connected to the battery pack and a slip of the soldering or a solder bridge may cause a short circuit. So remove or disconnect the battery pack before attempting any repair. Also your soldering instrument should have an isolated tip and the usual antistatic precautions should be done.
