hello all.
its been a long time since the last time i
post here.
could someone help me? i was trying to burn
some CD's and suddenly my laptop screen goes
"layered"?
i don't know how i should call it. my laptop
screen is kinda greyish with alternating
horizontal lines, i have tried to restart it,
but the alternating horizontal ines starts
even from bios!
can this be fixed? or should i bring it to
service center? which probably isn't a good
idea, because i have downgraded my vista
basic into xp sp2. maybe the warranty already
void. duh.
any suggestion?

If there is any chance that it is still under warranty, take it back. The downgrade shouldn't kill the hardware warranty. At the same time it could be that the video driver is corrupt.

If you were stressing the processor then the laptop may have overheated. Let it cool down and try again.
