I have tried deleting every unwanted program, run a defrag and everything else but the space is still full any suggestions

We're giving him things to try so he'll have plenty to do to troubleshoot. :)
Try going to Start>Control Panel>System>System Restore and check Turn off System Restore on all drives if it's not checked. Click Apply (it takes a minute). Now click the checkbox again and click Apply.
