My FX card is really wierd. I've overclocked max outof it and my cpu, but still I get only 1000 3dmarks (3dmark 2003) where everyone else with the same card (Sparkle's GeForce FX5200) get 1400 without overclocking.
Does anyone recognize what could be wrong?(I don't think it's the volts cos I've maxed the AGP and chipset volts.)
Unreal 2 runs really slow too...I'd be greatful for some hints.
Thx!

Have you tried updating to the latest drivers? Are you using Direct X 9.0b? Have you defragged your hdd lately? Are you running other apps in the background while gaming? (i.e. Anti-virus, download managers, etc?)

I've got all the latest drivers..
But I do have Antivirus and firewall going in background, but nothing else.
Hdd is new, so I guess it haven't been fragged yet.

Holy crap thats slow i used to get more than that with my old GeForce 2 MX400.
What did you overclock the gpu and memory to, because if you dont get the right balance between the two it slows it down like hell.

i saw a similar problem in one of the other forums and suggested to the guy that he might not have installed the AGP drivers for his motherboard.
Sure enough his score in 2001 went from 7000 to 12000.
It's worth checking as without these you will only be getting AGP1x , not the 8x which I think your card supports.

Nuklea: I use GPU 306/428

AGP drivers? How do you mean? I do have the drivers for my motherboard but is there another driver?
thx(I can choose 8x in bios though)

do you have a VIA chipset? If so, then when you install the 4-in-1 drivers on the CD you should see a tick box for the AGP 3.0 drivers, which obviously needs to be ticked.
I'm not sure for other chipsets (nForce etc) as I've only ever had VIA myself, but I would imagine much the same would apply. Or they could be a separate file on the CD, have a browse through it's contents. Good luck.
