That is the problem with this deal. Diag power on circuit. (really can't, just get new laptop)

... could be a damaged power jack socket in the laptop, seems to be a common fault usually a cracked solder joint due to pushing/removing the adapter plug. ... moving it slightly with the power on may lead to the cause as you see the led's flash.
