My desktop looks blurry after replacing Graphics card

Specs: Windows 7
Hello all..
I have a PC running the ff specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Graphics Card: IntelĀ® HD Graphics onboard

I have a spare 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce 210 Graphic card so I installed it so I can play games. I updated it with the latest driver version 296.10

Then I noticed that my desktop doesn't look as clear as I have before when all I had was the onboard Intel HD graphics. The text on the desktop icons look blurry. I tried adjusting the appearance > display > resolution settings to the native resolution for my acer monitor (1366 x 768). I also adjusted the 'ClearType text' settings. Still, my desktop looks a bit blurry.

Is this because the Intel HD graphics is better than the GeForce 210?

Many Thanks! :)

Sounds like the frequency for your monitor is off. Open your Screen Resolutions adjustment window.

Right click on your monitor and select properties.

Click on the Monitor tab and check the Screen refresh rate.

Make sure that the refresh rate is set to specs of your monitor.

Modern LCD screen use 60hz refresh rate. Post the monitor model number.
