You're right! Now that I've read what I posted. I must ask myself "What was I thinking"? Of course there's no fix. My great regard for the Dell company has been dashed by their mediocre and anti-customer service posture. When I asked them to just send me another of the dvd drives (that they must pay a pittance for in bulk) they tried to make me jump through hoops as if I really needed their products that badly. No more Dells for me!
