Specs: Windows XP
my computer won't start directly ..the problem is
if i press the power the cpu is on but the monitor
is not running then if i press the restart button
thats the time my pc is working..

Kind of hard to tell, Might be that the computer is really on and there is an issue with the video adapter or monitor.

I'd look at the way the lights boot up on keyboard more closely on the two times. See also the floppy and hard drive lights and the order of all of these. See also event viewer logs to see if there are other issues.

Basically my guess is either the computer or video issue. Might have to borrow monitor if all lights look good on boot and event logs says it booted correctly.

Might be an issue with the power supply. Might be that it isn't fully powering up fast enough.

Did it ever work correctly?
