My computer wont detect my Graphics card! PLEASE HELP!!

Specs: Windows 7, AMD Athlon ii X4 640 3GHz/ 6 Gigs
OK so here's what's going on my computer wont detect my graphics card and I have no idea why its was working perfectly fine I was playing battlefield 3 one morning and everything was fine but then I put the computer on sleep mode because I had to go to school and once I came back from school I clicked the mouse to wake up the computer but nothing showed up on the screen I checked everything if all the cables where plugged in if the graphics card was all the way in the PCI-e slot but still nothing showed up so i have no idea whats causing the problem i don't if the graphics card is not working anymore or if it's the mother board oh and the fan on the graphics card was still spinning so I know it was getting power.
MY GRAPHICS CARD: XFX AMD Radeon HD 6750

Did you reboot the computer?

If so, what happened?

Did you get anything on the screen?

Did you hear any beeps, if so, how many and in what sequence.

I hope your turned the computer off before you started messing about inside.

Just to clarify in case you misunderstand what is meant by re-boot as so many do. It just means pressing the power button and starting the computer from scratch. It doesn't mean reinstalling the operating system.

Yes I did reboot it nothing happened and i did hear one Beep and yes I did turn off my computer before I started to mess about inside

One beep is good, it means all the hardware is working correctly so it is not the video card.

Try and check the monitor on another computer if possible

The Monitor works im using my integrated graphics on my motherboard now so the monitor does work
