I have a Compaq Presario 700a notebook computer and the BIOS/CMOS battery is dead. I replaced it with a new one and it still won't turn on. Is there something else I am supposed do to reset the BIOS or something? I am very good with computers.

Could please tell me where it is on the motherboard? I have been trying to find a diagram of some sort but no one has the right one. My e-mail is

P.S. When I took out the original battery I left it out for about a half an hour and put it back in and the computer came on and displayed COMPAQ. 5 seconds later it would shut off, then it stopped doing that. I used a battery tester and the original is definetly dead.
