my computer stoped detecting my grafix card

Specs: Windows 7
i need some help. i have Ben reading threds all day. so what happened is i turned on my computer and sead no device reconized so i put monitor to on bored and boom it works how the hell do i get my grafix card to work! my fan on my grafix card is still spinning and its on but i cant get it to work for nothing some one help.

some possibilities:
The graphics card has failed. Spinning fan means only that the fan works. Says nothing about the rest of the card.
The powersupply has partly failed. ( less likely )
The slot in the motherboard or it's control circuitry has failed.

Diagnosis technique:

Test the card in another compatible system.
Test a known good compatible card in your system.
Test with a known good powersupply.

There is one other slim possibility. Your CMOS battery has failed and the BIOS has reset to defaults which would probably not be set to recognize the plug-in graphics. Boot up into bios and check the display adapter settings.

Well see the thing is when it stoped working i could no longer find the driver on my pc and also tryed to downlode it agen and evan after i downlode the driver i cant find the driver any where on my pc its weard i think i have a Ati hd radion 5500 grafix card i am running 32 bit windown 7
