Well the Emachines website and available documentation is completely useless. They do not provide an actual motherboard model number nor manual. Only a user guide. In general, Emachines are notorious for fitting their systems with crappy low spec powersupplies with a propensity to fail. My first suggestion would therefore be to get a different powersupply and see if that resolves your problem.
