Ok ive had the same laptop since 2003 its been great never any problems besides reformating it a few times but just recently after about 20 to 30 mins of use it makes a weird noise coming from where the harddrive is located and one by one my programs stop responding and windows gets the BSOD i then turn the laptop off by holding down the power button it then makes a moaning noise as it shuts down lol. after a few mins I turn it on again and it works fine for another 20 mins. so do i need a new hard disk?
