My computer keeps shutting down on its own. When it does turn off I cant turn it back on for a few seconds. I recently cleaned the computer because I heard the fans going into overdrive. A week or so after I cleaned it this problem started happening (yesterday) where it would just shut down. I have the tower open right now to see if its just an overheating problem. I asked around elsewhere online and a suggestion that it might be my power supply failing. I tried getting to the power supply box but I cant open it (probably a good thing).
No... Im pretty sure I did not take anything out of the computer. I updated my BIOS driver with the IPIBL-LB Motherboard BIOS Update. I also took off the side panel for the tower and everything seems to be fine now. The computer is a bit sluggish though and Core Temp only seems to be registering 1 processor instead of 2.
