Well ever since I built a comp with a Asus K8N-E w/ AMD Athlon 3000+ 64 bit and added a Geforce 6600 GT, I have been getting random reboots constantly. The weird thing is, I get these random reboots only the first few times I start my computer, afterwards it kinda stops. My CPU temperature is fine(around 40c in BIOS), I do not overclock, and my PSU is pretty new, dont see why it would be causing any problems? Can anyone recommend me some diagnostic programs or something to fix this annoying problem? ty

Go to system properties, startup and recovery, and uncheck automatic reboot. Then you take all the drugs you want.

Well,they do sell software programs.
Try : CAUTION Insanity is caused by running these two programs simutaniously.
Withdrawel 2.0
Cold Turkey 2.0
This is usually caused by a software driver problem.
You may need to upgrade your drivers. The power supply is another good possibility.
Note:Thank You for..{My computer is on drugs}made my day.

make sure all the screws on your moboa are secure. if it takes 6 0r 8 and u use 4 or 6 ot may cause problems. even if it does not seem loos it may cause random reboots. I ranout of screw so i used 6 for a mobo that needed 8 thinking 6 would holld and it was on druggs untill i put 2 more scews in...don know why
back up your back up...i just lost 300 gigs of "back up" and i don't have the originals for a lot of it.

My PSU has never caused any problems when I used a Abit P4 Mobo + Geforce 6600 GT. When I switched to the AMD Combo though, problems started showin up.
Im going to try what Cody says since that may be the solution..

Use a bright light and give your motherboard a thorough visual check.
