You need to tell us more. There could be tons of reasons for that.

What are the specs of your PC? What do you use your PC for? (gaming etc), When does this happen? (When booting or during something else etc)
Is the screen flashing white or remaining white constantly?

Please reply with more details

It doesn't normally go white during booting up but shortly after and will do it at any time. The screen freezes, goes to stripes, then white. Sometimes, it will come back up, other times it will shut itself down, although, not all the time. I have ran anti-virus, malware, a cc cleaner, and even restored it with no success. It is considered an "entertainment" pc, however, I use it mostly for documents, pictures, etc. As far as specs, I'm not sure and the last two times I tried to boot up the computer, it froze again. I think it has two gig memory and a 320 processor. It came with Vista but I upgraded to a Windows 7 32- bit professional. I hope this helps.

Is it a laptop or desktop system? What brand & Model if OEM or was it a custombuild? Does it have graphics integrated in the motherboard or a separate graphics card? Do you have the latest graphics drivers installed?

The graphics chip may be overheating. It may have been overstressed and be irrepairable. We need to know details of the hardware in order to best advise on ways forward.
