my computer has no power :'(

whenever i go to turn my computer on not a thing happens......computer is totally dead...no lights, no noice nothing!! tried cleaning fans and inside of computer but still no joy...nothing was knocked when touching fans...but did notice the fan that is on the circuit board which has the monitor connected...looked a little bit brown as if it has blown :S could anyone give me a list of the possible hardware tht could have blown that could be causing this problem....or just anything that will help me pleaseeeeeeeeee:d

Make sure the power supply is on at the back of the computer too.
