Solved My computer doesn't turn on even though power

September 12, 2011 at 04:13:34
Specs: Windows 7
I use my PC every single day for 4-5 hours. I use it for Facebook, Twitter, downloading music, YouTube and scanning my computer 24/7. I shut down everytime by pressing the arrow then shut down. I usually go on my PC at around 4pm, but today I went on at 4:30pm. The computer then just gave me a blank black screen. The high-tower was whizzing, that's what is usually does when it starts my computer! But today I keep on press "a button" next to the power button many times to hopefully turn on my computer. The button looks like it has a triangle within a circle. I tried to unplug the main switch swaping the switchs, and even unplugging everything on my high-tower and reconnecting back with it, and EVEN turning off/on my computer at the back of the high tower!!!

What should I do? Every comment counts! Thanks. My computer is not Windows 7 it is Windows Vista!!!

Turn on the PC, hit F8 a few times. If it takes you to a menu, choose VGA mode, last known good config or safe mode, in that order. Let us know if any of those work.
