|Is there a CD (disc) inside? It may have something to do with it, but if the drive is old, then likely the drive motor or gears that opens the tray may have worn out. It may have an emergency eject hole to insert a paper-clip to pop it open: |
If there's no disc inside, better to just replace the drive (which you'll likely have to do anyway).
