My Brand new computer wont boot!

Specs: N/A
I've purchased all my parts from tigerdirect and built the computer myself. It turns on for about 0.5 seconds then shuts down. Somehow after fooling around with the motherboard, i got it to turn on but i got nothing on my monitor. When i restarted the computer, it went back to shutting down. Specs are: XFX nForce 750i SLI Extreme Motherboard
Intel C2Q Q6700 2.66GHz OEM
OCZ SLI 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 x2
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB Hard Drive
XFX GeForce 9800 GT 512MB PCIe Video Card x 2
Ultra LSP650 650-Watt Power Supply
and Thermaltake / Silent 775D / Socket 775 / Copper Core / Copper Heatpipes / CPU Fan

All these are brand new parts, i have no idea why its not working.. maybe its defective?...
if so, should i take the whole computer to tigerdirect and ask for help? would they charge me?

Did you benchtest the board before installing into the case? That's an important step.

Did you remove the RAM and see if the motherboard gives a beep code when you boot? If not, is the system speaker plugged in? Did you remove the graphics cards and see if you get a beep code? Do you have the hard drive and all optical drives unplugged so that you can rule those devices ruled out?
