Can I suggest someting simple !!!!!!!!!

Reconect all your components..

Switch off the power at the wall.

Reset the bios using the Jumper, or if you have no jumper remove the battery for about 5 minutes or so..

Than reconnect the power tna boot the machine, if still no go than remove your ram module, and have it tested...

IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT

OK...define, "my hard drive screwed up"

then define, "my monitor gave up"

then explain, "when i reset it, it kept memory dumping.i tried reformatting.....and so on and so forth"

You really haven't told us anything. No mention of the CPU, board make/model, type of RAM, HDD, video card, PSU, etc...nothing! All you're doing is making general statements. And the fact that you jumped directly to formatting says a lot about your troubleshooting ability.
