|He probably removed the power from the domestic supply, took the battery out, then pressed the power off/on button in for about 20 seconds. This can clear things so that it works again when put together.|
However it begs the question as to why it keeps doing this. Might need a new battery.
EDIT: Reboot just means powering off then on again - I trust you didn't mean something else.
