My Acer One can´t use a regular monitor...

Specs: Windows XP Home, Intel Atom N270
For two years my Acer One ZG5 has worked fine, but I have been trying to use it with my 14¨ Flat monitor and it refuses to either sent the signal, or the monitor won´t detect it. Is there a fix for this, can I make any changes on teh Control Panel to make this happen???

Clarify what types of monitors you are referring to. CRT or LCD type? If LCD is the monitor digital or analog?

Are you connecting it with any adapters in the cabling?

It might have to be enabled in bios.

See this for normal instructions.

Thanks for your question, I am reffering to a new, conventional 19¨, Flat Screen, Digital LCD monitor. Justo

You didn't answer if you are using adapters in the cable or not.

Have you tried reconnecting the 14" to see if that still works.

Post the full model numbers of BOTH the external monitors you mentioned above.
