Ok my specs are as above, i have a Ati Radeon 9600XT 128mb ddr gfx card.
I got a 616 on 3dmark03. Is this a bad score?? I have no clue how this works, so please let me know your opinions. Thanks

Woah, those scores are horrible, I get more than 3000 with my 128mb Radeon 9600 pro running an athlon XP 2000+ with 256mb RAM. It could be your drivers, I run catalyst 3.9, download them from ATI.com. Also ensure you are running Direct X 9 this can be downloaded from microsoft.com

Yes,

The standard scores people compare are always using the default settings.

Keep in mind this particular test is designed to sell hardware. All scores are artifically low in that respect. If it does what you want as to games or video then don't worry about it.
