Dear all,

The question is really simple. Is a mx440 graphics card (64mb SDRAM)able to work flawlessly with a gigabyte GA-k8vt800 mobo and a Athlon 64 bit 3000? Set aside the performance factor (body of a lion - heart of a sheep), the only thing I would like to check is whether the PC can operate normally and show the desktop on the screen. That's all! I am planning to upgrade my old pc with the mentioned processor and mobo so I would like to keep the new system just as "operational" (ie checking the odd email and open an application or two) till the time that I will order a new graphics card. Any answer will be much appreciated. Thanks!

the only issue would be the performance (but as you said that doesn't matter) otherwise it will run fine.
