Hi there
Could anyone of you answer why I have to remove and re-insert the Cmos battery every time in order to start my newly-put-together computer?

Computer specs
MSI G31M mainboard
Intel Duo core 2.something

2 gb internal mem
DVD drive

Who put-it-together -- you?

Have you put one together before?

Did you assemble & configure the BIOS correctly?

Could be the CMOS reset jumper is in the reset position rather than the run position. Always check when assembling a new system as it may have been shipped that way.
