Hi, I am designing a network with 10 PC's connected to a fileserver using a switch and fixed IP addresses. I need to allow the file server to connect to a DHCP network also, I am planning to install 2 NIC cards in the file server - one set for DHCP and associated 10.10 ....etc network configuration, the other NIC card would be a fixed IP address 192.168.1...etc assigned. I am a newby to this area, is my idea wierd or workable ?
