Reply: (edit)G'day, In principle you can attach multiple devices to a SCSI controller. The connection should be the same as connecting IDE hard drives, only the connector is 50 pin. I think all you need is a cable with multiple connectors on it. One connector for each device, and one going to the card. Each device then needs an address setting (swithes on the board). You may have to remove or add (can't remember which!) some terminating resistors. Consult your manual for this. regards, Elric

Reply: (edit)G'day, The termination is either passive or active. In the simplest of terms it might just be a set of resistors which looks like an IC or a SIL (single in line) part. This would plug into the card or back of the device. It is not a cable. This, however, only works for short cable lenghts and slower SCSI systems. The active termination requires power and supplies the necessary termination voltage (as opposed to the voltage produced by termination current running through the resistor). You would have to conslt your manual or dealer. Are you sure that the device or board did not come with any of these? regards, Elric
