Multi Monitor playback errors

I'm not sure if you need my system specs. I'm running Xp sp2, with a Nvidia fx 5200 dual display card.
Here's my issue: When I play any type video on my primary monitor, real player, quicktime etc.
My secondary monitor will show it in fullscreen. The primary monitor also shows playback but I have the option to resize etc. The only way I can end the fullscreen mode in the 2nd monitor is to end the playback.
How do I solve this? This just started yesterday and I don't recall changing any settings.
