I keep getting the message "Internet explorer cannot find the Active Desktop HTML file, this file is needed for your active desktop."

So far everything I have tried to do (from the Microsoft site) does not fix this problem. One of which was the repair tool for IE.

My version is Version 6.0.2800.1106 and my version of mshtml.dll is 6.0.2800.1555. Could this have anything to do with it?

Hi, Try SYSTEM INFORMATION in SYSTEM TOOLS. FILE CHECKER will extract the file that is missing from the Install CD.

Good Luck, Jim
