My Creative Zen Nano stopped playing the downloaded music files so I reformatted, and in doing so, I also deleted all data. Since then, not only is anything visible in the device screen when I turn it on, but upon connecting with USB cable the device is no longer detectable by the computer. It does not show up in Windows Explorer or in Device Manager. Updating drivers was to no avail. Creative Co. no longer supports that model.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions other than "Deep-Sixing" it.

You need to install the MBoard chipset drivers and probably drivers for sound, network and any other integrated hardware you use, including graphics. The drivers are available on the CD that may have accompanied the MBoard. Or from the MBoard manufacturers site. If you don'tknow the manufacturer or model download a program call SIW. SIW should give you the model info.
