I have this problem with Logitech mice. I say it is with the mice because I have run across it on many computers using different OS's and using differnent computers. The problem is this. When I use a logitech optical mouse sometimes the curser wiggles around the screen and acts unresponsive somewhat. When I pull the cord, I can usually get the curser to function properly for a while, but the cord is not tight nor is it pulling on the mouse to cause this problem. Anyone else run across this issue?

My optical mouse sometimes wiggles like it can't decide whether it is on one spot or another. A slight movement fixes that.

Pulling on the cord fixes your problem? This would indicate that there was a wiring problem. You might be able to open it up and reseat the connector. If that doesn't fix it, it's time for a new mouse.

That would work, except I notice it on several of the Logitech Mice and some of them are brand new.
