mouse or keyboard not working

pc boots up fine, but when it get to welcome screen, I cannot do anything because my mouse and keyboard dont work. no lites on keyboard come on. I have tried interchanging mouse and keyboard from another pc but with same results. I also tried using usb mouse and keyboard but nothing seems to work. any suggestions will be appreciated.

can you still go into the bios???
check the settings in the bios

Are you using a USB hub? I had the same problem with my USB hub. All i did was plug the keyboard into the USB port on the motherboard and it worked fine.
