ok, the laptop mouse is one of the touch kind, and its been acting up, im thinking wear and tear but im wanting to knock off anything else but cant think of anything. it sometiems doesnt work and sometimes moves around.

I had an old laptop with the touch pad for the mouse, started having the same problems you are having. I ended up using a pc mouse, you should have a plug-in for one somewhere on the laptop. Or if push comes to shove, there is a small program that uses certain keys on your keyboard to move the mouse, and for the left, and right click functions, it is free,it is called Mouse Emulator, and is found here http://www.nonags.com/nonags/miscu.html a little over halfway down the page you will see it.
