Mouse Glitch?

February 1, 2010 at 04:25:57
Specs: Windows 7

So, my mouse is doing this odd thing. I'll explain to the best of my ability.
[It took me forever to find out the mouse was doing it, because when I unplugged it finally the problem stopped.[
Anyway, so when the mouse is plugged in and I click on a place to type into, for example this box I'm typing in now, and completely random times the " - " symbol will be repeated over and over again. There is no wireless keyboard and the only way to stop it is unplugging the wireless mouse connection. This didn't start happening until recently and the only new thing on my computer is Phase Express, I believe which is a spamming program. I don't know if that would possibly have something to do with it, but any explanation would be helpful. I looked at a few mouse virus forums, but it didn't seem to fit, because my mouse has no other problems. [Quivering or moving eratically.] So! Ty ty if you have any suggestions.

My guess is "Phase Express" (PhraseExpress?) is the problem. It is not a "spamming program", it's a typing program. Try uninstalling it.

It doesn't seem like the mouse is the problem but still, swap in another mouse and see if you still have the problem.

You're not really green until you're soylent green.
