Mouse Freeze

Sorry if you have already answered this but I couldn't see if there was a Vista solution to this problem, happens on boot, and when coming off screen save, just freezes, no error messages, running bluetooth wireless mouse, batteries new, bluetooth connection working good with keyboard... and after 3-5 minutes mouse seems fine again! Help!!!
